1. What the hire covers
A hire includes the number of headsets you choose (6, 12, 18 or 24), the transmitters for three channels, and charging cases, all charged, cleaned and tested before collection. The standard hire is for a weekend: collect on the Friday or Saturday and return the kit on the next working day. Longer hires can be arranged in advance.
2. Prices and deposit
Prices are per weekend: 6 headsets £40, 12 headsets £60, 18 headsets £75, and all 24 headsets £90. On top of the hire fee we take a refundable deposit of £30 at collection. The deposit is returned to you in full once the kit is brought back on time, complete and in good working order.
3. Looking after the kit
While the equipment is in your care, please keep it dry, indoors overnight, and away from drinks and water. Do not leave it unattended in a public place. The headsets are for normal party use only. Returning everything clean and undamaged is what keeps this a friendly, affordable local hire.
4. Loss or damage
You are responsible for the equipment from the moment you collect it until you return it. If anything is lost, stolen or damaged beyond normal wear while it is with you, we will use the deposit towards putting it right. Where the cost of repair or replacement is more than the deposit, you agree to cover the reasonable difference at the current cost of the item. We will always show you what has happened and what it costs before charging anything beyond the deposit.
5. Returns
Please return the full kit by the agreed time. If you need a little longer, let us know as early as you can and we will do our best to help. Late returns without notice may affect the deposit if they leave us unable to fulfil the next booking.
6. Cancellations
Plans change, and that is fine. If you need to cancel, please tell us as soon as you can. Where a deposit has been paid ahead of the hire, we will refund it in full if you cancel at least 5 working days before your hire date.
7. Our responsibility
We test every set before it goes out. In the rare event of a fault that is not caused by misuse, we will do our best to help on the day and will not charge for a fault that is genuinely ours. White Woodlands is not responsible for indirect losses arising from a hire. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law.
